About:
Warwick Schiller grew up in rural Australia on a 1,200 acre sheep and wheat farm. His father competed in all 5 rodeo events (at the time, this is before there was team roping in Australia) specializing in bull riding where he went to the National Finals several times, wining the event in 1968. Quarter Horses were introduced to Australia in the late 1960’s and Warwick’s father was introduced to them through their use in the calf roping and steer wrestling.

As a youth Warwick competed in pony club and Quarter Horse shows. He developed a fascination with the reining event, and that interest led him to move to the United States in late 1990, where he worked for 3 years for NRCHA Hall Of Famer Don Murphy.

In 1994 he married his wife Robyn, and started training horses for the public. Over the years he has specialized in both training reining horses and solving “problem” horses. He represented Australia at the World Equestrian Games in reining in both 2010 and 2018. Over the years he came to realize his real talent lay in teaching, explaining things in a way that the average person can understand. In 2011 he started putting little training clips on YouTube to help horse owners with common issues that he saw people struggling with. That YouTube channel now boasts over 350 videos and 20 million views. This led to him starting his Online Video Subscription.

Warwick has changed quite a bit about how he trains horses in the past few years, these days focusing on relationship, relaxation and connection first, and training and obedience second. He finds it that many of the training issues that he has had to deal with in the past are no longer there when the relationship is made a priority.
