Cornerstone Horsemanship
Cornerstone Horsemanship is a horse training facility offering colt starting and performance horse training in Versatility Ranch Horse competitions. Both American Quarter Horse Association Professional Horsemen, Charles and Michele have qualified multiple horses for the AQHA World Shows since 2012, as well as the AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World Show in 2018 & 2019.
Charles and Michele are the founders of the East Coast Stock Horse Association. The ECSHA is one of the few organizations in its region that offers ranch and stock horse events. Our summer show series has five ECSHA shows that run concurrently with AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse shows. We also offer five schooling shows and a benefit show each year. The East Coast Stock Horse Association is a very unique organization as one of the founding and only members of the National Ranch and Stock Horse Alliance on the east coast. Charles is president of the National Ranch and Stock Horse Alliance. The NRSHA is an alliance of six member associations, including the AQHA, with over 260,000 members. The NRSHA national championships are held concurrently with the AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World Show in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
About:
Charles and Michele Pellham established Cornerstone Horsemanship with the goals of giving young horses a solid start under saddle, teaching horsemanship to riders of all disciplines, and incorporating horsemanship methods into the show world. With over 50 years combined experience in the horse industry, Charles and Michele have the depth of knowledge needed for training horses and teaching people. Horses and students that have gone through the Cornerstone Program have won many local, state, and national championships in events including hunter/jumpers, dressage, reining, ranch pleasure/ranch riding, roping, cutting, western pleasure, stock horse, ranch trail, and working ranch horse.

Accomplishments include multiple American Ranch Horse Association World & Reserve World Championships, multiple East Coast Stock Horse Association titles, AQHA Year End High Point awards & AQHA points in Versatility Ranch Horse, Reining, Working Cow Horse, & Ranch Riding, all on multiple horses.
Michele exhibits versatility in a trainer. She has trained and shown cutting horses, as well as dressage and barrel racing, puts the finishing touches on young horses, and has a gift for working with young or inexperienced riders. Accomplishments include AQHA Year End High Point awards, multiple ARHA Reserve World Championships, multiple ECSHA titles, & 2016 ARHA World Show Open All Around Champion.
